How has the internship been the same as and/or different than your expectations?
I knew that office work is very ______ but not as much as I thought it would be. I have figured out that working in an office doing something over and over again is tiring, so I guess I'll try to choose a career that doesn't sit me in the front of a PC for the rest of my life. I'm a very active person who needs to be moving and thinking... Sitting in front of a PC is not very active, but it can make you think, this is not enough for me... =S
What is similar and different about the culture of the school environment versus the workplace environment? What new skills have you learned that apply to the workplace?
The culture of the school environment and the one at my work place is very different. In school I spend hourS talking to my friends and discussing, and learning a lot in the classes, how ever in my workplace I just sit and do my work as any other worker with out talking much, and there is not much to learn because as a worker you have a spot and a daly routine, which changes vary rarely, however in school this is different it changes everyday... I have learn a lot but I think it wasn't as much as I though I would...
What kind of relationship do you have with your mentor and co-workers? How have you grown as a result of interacting with professional adults?
I have had been and grown with in adults... My parents friends do not have children of my age so since I was a little kid I would be with my parents and their friends and from my mother side of the family I have no older cousins so I was raised by my uncles and aunts... I feel very comfortable when I'm around adults, like my mentor and co-workers, even though I don't talk to them that much, because every one works in something different. I think I have grown a little bit more as the result of interacting with professional adults.
What challenges at the internship have you faced that you have overcome and how did you overcome them?
I come to my Internship site very tired and I have fallen asleep because I can't stay awake through the day... I have had to drink a lot of coffee to "survive" through the day!
What challenges have you faced in school as a result of the altered schedule and how are you handling them?
I'm very tired during the week! I have fallen asleep in class, which had never happened to me before... I have had to stay awaken until very late some days... and when I want to rest over the weekend I can't because I have enough homework that takes about the time a day and a half of a regular school day would...
What goals are you working to accomplish during the remainder of the internship?
Learn how to do more stuff and finally decide if I'm the kind of person who would work in an office...=P
What new things have you learned about New York City?
Smart people speaks hardcore English... =S

A desk job "pushing paper" is not in the future for you, eh? There are lucrative careers where you do pretty much the same thing you are doing, but I agree. I need more stimulation, interaction. But sometimes it is nice to get away and be able to do your job in relative peace and quiet. Seek balance.
The post seems a little skimpy...but you aren't getting as much out of the internship as you might have hoped, which is probably the reason for giving it less than your all.
Try vitamins and cold showers. These can help you stay awake and provide more energy as well. -AS-
